Registration Fees

Full Conference Registration: Monday 1 May to Thursday 4 May 2017

Full registration includes entry to the Welcome Reception, Conference Dinner, all conference sessions, exhibition and conference catering.

Student registration includes entry to all conference sessions, exhibition and conference catering. Student registration does not include entry to the Welcome Reception and Conference Dinner but tickets can be purchased on the social functions page. Note – student places are limited and for full time students only. Please email a copy of your student identification to in order to verify your full time student status.

One ticket to the welcome reception is included in full registrations. Additional welcome reception tickets can be purchased during the online registration process for $35 including GST.

Conference Dinner

One ticket to the conference dinner is included in full registrations. Additional conference dinner tickets can be purchased during the online registration process for $120 each including GST.

Field Trip Registration $65

An evening field trip to the Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary, hosted by the Woodlands & Wetlands Trust and the ACT Government

The field trip will be a 90 minute guided walking tour of the predator-free Sanctuary, spotlighting for Eastern Bettongs, Eastern Quolls and Bush Stone-curlews, with a discussion on pest animal management within the Sanctuary.

Credit card payments can be made online or over the phone. VISA, MasterCard and AMEX are accepted. Please note that when you pay by credit card, Lasch Pty Ltd will appear on your statement.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

Details for EFT payments will be provided on your tax invoice. Please reference the payment with your name and invoice number.

Acknowledgement / Communication

All communication with registered delegates will be by email. All registrations will be emailed a confirmation letter and tax invoice within 5 working days of submitting a registration form. If you do not receive the email, please check your SPAM folder prior to contacting the Conference Secretariat as it might have been viewed as SPAM mail by your spam filter.

Payment of fees

All conference and function payments must be received prior to the Conference. If payment for your registration type (eg Early Bird) is not received by the cut-off date, your registration type will be changed to the next registration level.

Conference Cancellation Policy

Delegates who find themselves unable to attend AVPC 2017 after submitting a registration form are most welcome to nominate a substitute. All substitutions and cancellations must be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat. Cancellations received before 31 March 2017 will be refunded, less an administration fee of $99. Cancellations after 31 March 2017 are not refundable. Exceptions are at the discretion of the Organising Committee. By submitting your registration you agree to the terms of the cancellation policy.

Visa Application

All visitors to Australia (except for New Zealand passport holders) must have a valid visa. Please refer to the following documents for more information:

It is suggested that all visitors should apply for a visa at least two months prior to their intended date of departure, and four months prior for people with character or health concerns.

If you require assistance with your visa application, please provide Conference Logistics with your passport details (country of passport, passport number, current country of residence and name in full as it appears on your passport) via email at, these details will then be forwarded to the Australian Department of Immigration and Border IECN. However this is only to support your visa application which you need to do through your nearest Australian Embassy.
